We offer up-to-date, essential advice for safe, global travel…

We want you to have a very happy and healthy trip, so come and see us before you depart and we can assess your individual needs.

We do not have last minute travel appointments, so please book your appointment 4-8 weeks prior to travelling. You will be seen by either of our Practice Nurses:

Sister Lorraine Gemmell or
Sister Caroline Lomax.

By booking an appointment well in advance of your trip, it allows us to research the destination for current vaccination requirements and the latest reported diseases.

We will also be able to complete most vaccine courses, discuss avoidance of mosquito bites and anti-malarial tablets.

It also allows you to ask frequently asked questions regarding:

Food and water
Travellers diarrhoea and dehydration
Personal hygiene
Swimming
Insect bites
Danger sports (rock climbing / scuba diving etc.)
Accidents
Air travel
Insurance cover
Diabetes
Sun & heat exposure
Special care of children.

If you have any further questions or to book an appointment, please call us today on 01706 658905.
